Akiko Terada-Hagiwara
Asian Development Bank
Akiko Terada-Hagiwara is an Economist at the Macroeconomics and Finance Research Division (Economics and Research Department) of the Asian Development Bank (ADB). From 2005 to 2008, she was also an economist at Institute for Monetary and Economic Studies of the Bank of Japan. Prior to joining the ADB in 2003, she also worked at Global Insight and the World Bank. Her areas of expertise are in international finance, development economics, and macroeconomic policies. She holds Ph.D. in Economics from George Washington University and B.A. from Osaka University.
