Christopher Cotton is the Jarislowsky-Deutsch Chair in Economic and Financial Policy, and an Associate Professor at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario. His research uses game theory, information economics, and experiments to examine an array of public policy questions. Some recent projects study how university policies such as fighting grade inflation and using affirmative action in admissions affect incentives for human capital investments. Previously, he was a faculty member at the University of Miami. He earned his Ph.D. from Cornell University in 2008.
