Daria Taglioni

Daria Taglioni is a Senior Economist at the World Bank. Previously she worked at the European Central Bank (2006-2011), and at the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (2002-2006). Her recent research focuses on international competitiveness, the economics of value chain production and the link between financial markets and trade. Daria is an Italian national and holds a PhD in International Economics from the Graduate Institute, Geneva, a master’s degree in Economics from the College of Europe, Bruges and an undergraduate degree from the University La Sapienza of Rome. She speaks Italian, English, French and German.
