Dieter Urban is professor in applied econometrics at RWTH Aachen University and affiliated to CESifo. He obtained his Ph.D. from Copenhagen Business School and held previously research positions or fellowships at PennState University, Centro Studi Luca d’Agliano (Milan), LSE, and University of Mainz. His main research fields are exports, foreign direct investment, outsourcing, and labor market effects of international shocks.
