Ester Faia

Ester Faia is Professor, holding a Chair in Monetary and Fiscal Policy, at Goethe University Frankfurt, scientific coordinator of Systemic Risk Lab-SAFE excellence center, fellow of CFS and associate editor in various journals. Formerly research professor at Kiel-IfW, fellow at CEPREMAP, consultant of the ECB, visiting professor at EUI and assistant professor at UPF. She holds a Ph.D. from NYU and bachelor/master degrees from Bocconi. She published extensively in refereed journals in the field of monetary, finance and labour and was awarded several research grants (EU and Marie Curie) and excellence prizes.
