Fabio Ghironi is Associate Professor of Economics at Boston College, a Research Associate in the International Finance and Macroeconomics Program of the National Bureau of Economic Research, a Fellow in the Euro Area Business Cycle Network, and a Visiting Scholar at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. He is the U.S. Associate Editor of International Finance, a Co-Editor of εconomics, an Associate Editor of the Journal of International Economics, and an Editorial Board Member of the Review of International Economics. Fabio obtained a Laurea in Economic and Social Sciences from Bocconi University in 1993, a Master in Economics from the same institution in 1994, and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley in 1999. Prior to joining the faculty at Boston College, he was an Economist in the International Research Function at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. His main areas of research are international macroeconomics, macroeconomics, and monetary economics.
