Frans van Winden

Frans van Winden, Director of CREED, and professor of economics, University of Amsterdam. Received his doctorate degree from the University of Leiden. Former director and member of the board of the Tinbergen Institute. Held visiting positions at a.o. the California Institute of Technology, Harvard University, CES (Munich), the Zentrum für interdisziplinäre Forschung (Bielefeld), and UCLA. He is a fellow of CEPR, CESifo and the Tinbergen Institute, and on the editorial board of Public Choice. His main research interests are in the fields of political economics, behavioral economics, and experimental economics.
