Gabriel Felbermayr

Gabriel Felbermayr has been Professor of International Economics at Hohenheim University, Stuttgart, Germany, since 2008. Prior to his position he was assistant professor at the Universities of Tübingen (Germany) and Zürich (Switzerland). He has also worked as associate consultant with McKinsey & Co, Vienna Office. His current research concentrates on the interaction between goods and labor markets in different scenarios of globalization, on trade and the environment, and on developing a deeper understanding of trade costs. He has earned a PhD in Economics from the European University Institute in 2004.
