Georgi Krustev is an economist working in the External Developments Division at the ECB since April 2008. He monitors economic developments and conducts analyses and macroeconomic projections for the US and Canada. Georgi holds a M.Econ.Sc. from University College Dublin and a Laurea in Economics and Banking from the University of Siena (Italy). His research interests focus on topics related to the interaction between finance and real economic activity, sectoral balance sheet adjustments, as well as monetary and fiscal policy.
