Gianluca Violante is an Associate Professor of economics at New York University. His main research interests are macroeconomics and labor economics. He is also a research associate of the NBER and the managing editor of the Review of Economic Dynamics. He holds a magna cum laude degree in economics from University of Turin, and a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Pennsylvania
