Jérôme Héricourt is Assistant Professor at the University of Lille 1 (EQUIPPE department), and Research Associate at the University of Paris 1 (CES) and CEPII. He holds a PhD from the Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne. He also taught at the Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, Paris-Est Créteil and Sciences-Po Paris. His research mainly focuses on monetary economics and the behavior of firms under financial constraints, with a particular interest on the impact of financial development on exporting and financing choices. Part of his research is also dedicated to the political economy of local governments.
