Jonathan Dingel is a doctoral candidate in economics at Columbia University. His research interests include international trade, economic geography, urban economics, economic development, and microeconometrics. He has worked at Oxera Consulting, Oxford Investment Research, and the Peterson Institute for International Economics. He authors the blog Trade Diversion. He holds a B.A. with honors in economics and political science from Gonzaga University and a M.Phil. in Economics (with distinction) from the University of Oxford.
