Jose Enrique Garcilazo

Jose Enrique Garcilazo is the Head of Unit for Regional Growth and Policies within the Regional Development Policy Division at the OECD. His work has focused mainly in the area of regional competitiveness, measuring the performance of regions and understating the key factors for growth at the regional level. During his doctorate studies, his thesis investigated the problem of European unemployment and the relationship between inequality and unemployment.
