Lei Zhang
Tsinghua University
Lei Zhang is Senior Fellow and Assistant Director of the National Institute for Fiscal Studies of Tsinghua University. She was formerly Assistant Professor of Economics at Clemson University. From September 2007 to August 2008 she held the W. Glenn Campbell and Rita Ricardo-Campbell National Fellowship and the John Stauffer National Fellowship in Public Policy at the Hoover Institution of Stanford University. She is currently visiting the Department of Economics at University of California – Berkeley. Her main research interests are public economics, economics of education, and China’s fiscal policies. She received her Ph.D. in Economics from Stanford University.
