Miguel Segoviano is an Economist at the Monetary and Capital Markets Department of the International Monetary Fund in Washington, D.C. His work focuses on stress testing, financial stability assessment, risk management, financial regulation, financial mathematics and econometrics. He previously worked at Deutsche Bank, the Mexican Financial Regulatory Comission, Citibank and the Royal Bank of Canada. He has participated in diverse projects with the European Central Bank, the Deutsche Bundesbank, Banca d’Italia, the Bank for International Settlements, the Bank of England, the Bank of Lithuania, Denmark National Bank, Riksbank, and Norges Bank among others. Mr. Segoviano holds a PhD in Finance from the London School of Economics (LSE). He has received research prizes from Global Asset Management and has published in diverse Journals and finance industry magazines.
