Mitsuyo Ando is a Senior Assistant Professor of International Economics at Faculty of Business and Commerce , Keio University in Japan. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the Graduate School of Economics, Keio University. Prior to the current affiliation, she served as Assistant Professor at Faculty of Economics, Hitotsubashi University; Researcher at the Mitsubishi Economic Research Institute; Research Associate at the Faculty of Economics, Keio University; Research Analyst at the World Bank Institute; Intern at the Integration, Trade and Hemispheric Issues Division, Integration and Regional Programs Department, Inter-American Development Bank. She specializes in international trade and development economics. Her research interests include fragmentation and international production networks particularly in East Asia, FTAs/RTAs, NTMs, and intra-industry trade.
