Moritz Schularick

Moritz Schularick is Professor of Economics at the University of Bonn. He has also been a visiting professor at New York University and the University of Cambridge. His research interests include economic and financial history, international macroeconomics, and the rise of emerging markets in the world economy. Together with Niall Ferguson, he has coined the term 'Chimerica' and analyzed the economic and financial relations between the U.S. and China in recent years.
