Neel Sundaresan

eBay Research Labs

Neel Sundaresan is the Senior Director at eBay Research Labs where he leads the research team in areas like Search, Machine Learning, Big Data Science, and Vision, among others.  He has been with eBay since 2005. Prior to joining eBay he was a founder, CTO of a network CRM company and prior to that he was a manager of the eMerging Internet Technologies group at IBM Almaden Research Center.  He has over 50 refereed publications and over 65 issued patents. He has a degree in Mathematics, a Masters in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai and a PhD from Indiana University, Bloomington.
