Neil Kay is an administrator at the European Commission. He holds a PhD in Computer Science and an MSc in Economics. Following research in computer science, he worked in the financial software industry as a developer and project manager. He has worked as an economist at the Commission for many years, initially on topics related to public finances and external stability and, more recently, on competitiveness and industrial economics.
