Ricardo Ribeiro is an Assistant Professor at Faculdade de Economia e Gestão, Católica Porto. His areas of specialization include applied industrial economics, financial economics and marketing. He received his PhD from the London School of Economics and Political Science and was a post-doctoral researcher at Faculdade de Economia, Universidade do Porto. His current research includes the assessment of unilateral and coordinated effects in partial and full acquisitions, the (flexible) estimation of the substitution patterns of consumers, and the evaluation of the effect of alternative pricing strategies on consumer demand.
