Research Organization of Information and Systems
Ryoji Matsuoka is a project researcher (postdoctoral fellow) at the Survey Research Center, The Institute of Statistical Mathematics, Research Organization of Information and Systems. His research expertise covers the sociology of education, comparative and international education, and educational policy studies. He earned his Ph.D. in Education with a specialization in Educational Policy Studies from the College of Education, the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 2012.
He has published peer-reviewed journal articles on how socioeconomic inequality contributes to the achievement gap.
