Sandra E. Black

Sandra E. Black received her B.A. in economics from the University of California at Berkeley in 1991 and her Ph.D. in economics from Harvard University in 1997. Currently, she is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of California at Los Angeles and is affiliated with the National Bureau of Economic Research in Cambridge, MA, NHH, and IZA. Prior to her position at UCLA, she worked as a Senior Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Her research focuses primarily on education, training, and discrimination.
