Toke S. Aidt is a Senior University Lecturer in the Faculty of Economics at the University of Cambridge and a Fellow of Jesus College, Cambridge. He has published widely in the area of political economics and public choice and is on the editorial board of several journals, including the European Journal of Political Economy. His research has appeared in refereed journals, among them the Economic Journal, the Journal of Public Economics, the European Economic Review and the Journal of Mathematical Economics. Most of his current research focuses on the causes and (economic) consequences of political institutions.
