Tommaso Aquilante was awarded his BA and MSc in Economics from Bocconi University in Milan. He is currently a PhD student in Quantitative Economics at ECARES (European Center for Advanced Research in Economics and Statistics) and Affiliate Fellow at Bruegel, in Brussels.
He worked as a research assistant in the Econometric Modelling Division at the Directorate General Research of the European Central Bank in Frankfurt, at FEEM (Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei), at Bocconi University and at Bruegel.
Tommaso's main research interests are international trade, political economy and competitiveness.
